Joined MBBS at KMC, Manipal University, Manipal in 1998. Passed MS (GENERAL SURGERY) from KMC, Mangalore in 2007.
Joined my father Prof. S D Maurya after completing MS in 2007. Evolved my surgical skills under him. After gaining enough experience, I am now heading the second unit of Maurya Hospitals. Incharge of the Laparoscopic training Schedule of both hospitals. Have trained more than 250 surgeons so far
Practising Laparoscopic Surgery for more than a decade and perform more than 20 Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgical procedures with special interest in LAPAROSCOPIC HEPATO BILIARY AND RETROPERITONEAL SURGERIES SURGERIES &, ENDOUROLOGY.
I am a life member of Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons of India (SELSI),
Indian Association of Gastro-Intestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES), Indian Hernia Society, (IHS) and Association Of Surgeons Of India (ASI).
