Submission Guidelines of your Poetry Blog to “Shabdam Community”
Thank you for considering “Shabdam” as a platform to share your poetic creations. We are excited to read and showcase the diverse talent within our community. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable submission process, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Submission Format:
- Submit your poetry in a standard document format (Word, Google Docs, or plain text).
- Ensure that your submission is well-formatted with proper line breaks and spacing.
Poem Limit:
- You may submit up to two poems per submission.
- Each poem should not exceed 50 lines.
Originality:
- Only submit original work that has not been published elsewhere.
- Simultaneous submissions to other publications are allowed, but please inform us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
Theme and Content:
- “Shabdam” embraces a broad range of themes and styles. Feel free to explore diverse topics, emotions, and perspectives through your poetry.
- We encourage you to express yourself authentically and creatively.

Submission Process:
- Submit your work via email to shabd@shabdam.in
- Use the subject line: "Submission: [Your Name] - [Title of Poem(s)]"
- Attach your poems in the submission email. Do not paste them directly into the body of the email
Response Time:
We strive to respond to submissions within a week. Please be patient, as we carefully review each submission.
Rights:
By submitting your work to Shabdam, you grant us the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, and display your poetry on our platform. All other rights remain with the author.
Editing:
Our editorial team may provide light edits for clarity or formatting, but significant changes will be discussed with the author before publication.
Promotion:
We encourage you to share your published work on your social media platforms and personal networks.
